Cleaning Instruction:
You can hand wash / machine wash or dry clean your tweed car seat covers. When choosing to machine wash, remove seat covers from the car seat for washing and follow below given directions -
MACHINE WASH
TYPE OF MACHINE - Use large automatic speed control washers without agitators.
TYPE OF DETERGENT – Always use eco- friendly non-caustic, non-toxic bio-degradable anionic laundry detergent.
TEMPERATURE – 20 TO 27 * C
WASH CYCLES – Run 5 minutes of gentle wash cycle.
NUMBER OF CYCLES – 2 for rinsing, 1 cycle to half – dry.
IRON – Moderately warm.
WASH PROCESS – steps to follow:
- Fill machine with cold or warm water upto the desired level and mix 2 cups of detergent as described above.
- Soak for 5 minutes to help loosen the dirt.
- Wash the covers through 5 minutes of gentle cycle.
- Rinse with two cycles of cold water.
- Again rinse one cycle to half dry at low temperature.
- Flat dry in normal temperature.
This washing technique protects finishing treatments on the fabrics.
NOTE:
- Do not use agitator as it may tear-off or rip the product.
- Do not use automatic dryer.
- Do not use small domestic machines as the small space will not provide smooth movement.
- Do not use a fabric softener.
HAND WASH
If the covers are not so dirty, use hand washing instead of machine with detergent described above and cold water.
