Installation Guide:
Steps to follow:
A) Remove Headrest
B) Install Backrest
C) Install Bottom Cover
D) Installation on solid bench seats
E ) Console cover installation
REMOVAL OF HEADREST
A headrest can be removed in any of the following ways:
- Depress both side tabs and start lifting the headrest. If required take help from another person.
- Headrest with PIN HOLES on top
- Insert a paperclip end into the hole on the side of the head rest top.
- While pressing the paper clip, lift headrest.
- SLOT & TAB
- Depress the tab and press into the slot at the same time, and lift the headrest. This may require more than one person.
- PINHOLE & TAB
- Insert a paperclip end into the hole on the side of the headrest base.
- While pressing the paperclip, press the tab on the other base.
- While pressing both lift the headrest.
This may require more than one person.
NOTE: Place the headrest cover and put the headrest aside to be attached after covering the backrest.
BACKREST INSTALLATION
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- Pass the cover through the backrest.
- Attach velcro to the flap which is passed through the opening between seat back & seat bottom.
- Make adjustments to settle the cover smoothly over the backrest for extra custom look.
- for BUCKET SEAT with Non-Removable Headrest
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access while passing the flap through.
- Pass the cover through the backrest.
- Attach velcro to the flap which is passed through the opening between seat back & seat bottom.
- Make adjustments to settle the cover smoothly over the backrest for extra custom look.
- for BUCKET SEAT with Integrated Seat Belts
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- Pass flap through the opening between seatback & seat bottom, then attach velcro.
- Make adjustments to settle the cover smoothly over the backrest for extra custom look.
- for High Back BUCKET SEAT
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- Pass flap through the opening between seatback & seat bottom, then attach velcro.
- Make adjustments to settle the cover smoothly over the backrest for extra custom look.
- for 60/40 SPLIT BENCH
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- Pass flap through the opening between seatback & seat bottom, then attach velcro.
- Make adjustments to settle the cover smoothly over the backrest for extra custom look.
NOTE : Attach the headrest over the backrest after placement of Backrest cover.
INSTALLATION OF SEAT BOTTOM COVER
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- Position cover over seat bottom.
- Pass flap through.
- Attach buckles & hooks.
- Tuck excess material behind plastic trim pieces for an extra custom look.
- for SOLID BENCH style
Follow instructions mentioned below if you have a solid bench Seat ( three people can sit on the seat) ( with or without headrests).
- Fold the seatback forward to gain better access for passing the cover through easily.
- If the seat has the folding armrest, place it in “up“ position.
- Place seat cover over seat bottom.
- Tuck flap through the opening between seatback & seat bottom.
- Affix straps.
NOTE : Some seat bases are not covered.
CONSOLE COVER INSTALLATION
Steps to follow:
- Open console.
- Cover console top.
- Then cover console bottom.
- Pass console bottom flap through opening.
- Affix Velcro.
NOTE: Refer to Special Instructions & Finishing Touches for special needs and extra custom look.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS – I
Seats with airbags, Lumbar supports and armrests require special instructions:
- Seats with Integrated Seat Airbags must be covered only with seat covers designed with opening flaps. The flap inserts inside the cutout, and should be able to open freely in case of deployment. If your vehicle has seat mounted airbags, be certain that the seat covers have airbag cutouts or flaps.
NOTE: Do not cover seat airbags.
- Some levers or controls may require a slit in the seat cover.
